Interview, 1999 Sept. 2.

Discusses his experiences as a military policeman with the 5th Marine Division in the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945. He also tells about serving with the United States occupation forces in Japan following the war. Interviewed by Albert Winkler. Includes sixty-nine-page transcript and two audiocassettes. Also includes a heavily edited transcript, prepared by Don Norton.
